The importance of Civics and Citizenship Education has been obvious during the resent pandemic, disasters and an election, where many citizens do not seem to be aware of the responsibilities of the three levels of government. SCEAQ is a HaSS association with a focus on Civics and Citizenship. We also have an increased focus on global citizenship education since our recent merger with the Queensland Global Learning Centre, so there is a global sub-theme in this program. Therefore we are pleased to invite you to our conference for both primary and secondary teachers, and hope that you find that it helps you assess the challenges and opportunities for social and citizenship education. SCEAQ Conference Program 2022 v.2.pdf SCEAQ Conference Registration form 2022.pdf
